-Old- Post- Please Ignore- New Question

Alrighty Folks seeing as people forget to read some stuff I am here to tell you that I have run into a sorta brick wall.
The Chapter I have been designing the Storm Crusaders needs a few Influental Regular Captains, and Squad Mates. Problem is I can't seem to choose between a name between them all.
I have been searching and I found this
http://www.angelsbysharae.com/ArchangelsList.html
and this
http://www.steliart.com/angelology_angel_names_R.html
and this
http://www.angel-guide.com/names-angels.html
So far I am trying to name the entire 29th company and the Wanderers Chapter is also needing some love as well. It be absolutely wonderful if one of the dakkites here helps me with this.

I'd recommend http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Space_Marine for a read.
Some more specific questions would be helpful, your post is awfully vague.

As for the size, iirc marine chapters number ~1,000 marines. 5,000 does seem over the top, if so.

How is it they live in such harmony - the billions of stars - when most men can barely go a minute without declaring war in their minds about someone they know.

If you're a Codex chapter, 1,000 is the limit. If you're not a Codex, what's the background you have? I'd love to help flesh it out some more.

SW don't have 1,000 strictly. Some past codexes have listed characters as dead, but stats included for the purpose of recreating the past. Could simply be recreating a second founding chapter where they were still working out the standard lists for chapters.

If you want a chapter that's By-The-Book (The Codex Astartes) then you'll want it to be ~1,000 Marines. Some chapters are far under or over this amount. Space Wolves tend to be under because of the incredibly difficulty in becoming a Space Wolf. Black Templars are excpetionally over this amount because they don't follow the Codex Astartes and instead have their own organizational procedures.

A chapter of Five Thousand marines could be created through many circumstances. Perhaps an expanded Codex Astartes merging multiple chapters, who knows. Let your creativity run wild!

Just think to yourself "What here sounds stupid/out of place?" and edit your fluff. Cross-reference other chapters' fluff to get a good feel for what limits a Space Marine has.
