Thanks for that! Some of these cards are insane, at the cost of two glory, two upgrades and two ploys it is possible for my Gits to one shot Mollog nearly anywhere on the board! It requires a lot of setup and is pretty obvious but would be hilarious none the less.

Liking the look of the Ogors. Nice models and their playstyle is pretty unique with a mix of aggro and anti objective play.

Well we know that Morathi did summon shadow creatures to her cause when she first wandered the lands of Shadow, but we've never seen hide nor hair of a model.

Of course that appears to be a shadowy creature from the realm of Beasts, a realm that is held by a grand alliance that does have room for other forces

Wow they include card that involve magic, in a warband that don't have any spellcaster.

Look like a whack job of the community manager, as those cards have the Nurgle warband's art.

They have done that for ages, Mollog for example has spells in the expansion and he is not a caster.

Wonder if that "shadowy" creature will ever lead to something down the line? It's certainly unique.

So, what can we expect from the DoK warband? One melusai, two witch aelves, and a sister of slaughter?

For DoK players' sake I hope for a full blown Medusa, they are crucial for the army and only available in the Shrine kit. A WHU warband box would be cheaper than just the Medusa from a bitz site.

I was thinking on other cards that have their artwork, either way the new ones are neat.

There is definitely a Sister of Slaughter coming as well, so perhaps it's a 5 woman warband

Expected them to have more wounds, but the rules do look really cool. Keen to see all the cards which will apparently be up on Facebook soon

4 Wounds is pretty beefy, especially with the ability to reduce damage on successful saves and saving on Shields.

12 wounds total ties them for smallest warband I think? Of course the damage reduction helps somewhat but it is both situational and luck dependant, I wouldn't weigh it at more than 1/2 a wound per model per game.

There's a DoK warband coming up? Is that it for Beastgrave or something coming after them? Didn't get to play since the Kharadron dropped. A Medusa would've been great, but seems like they're all figured out already.

Wurmspat are just plain awesome looking.

If it were their only way to regain wounds or modify things, I'd agree.

"The Burgeoning" is a Cycle card for them where the first friendly fighter that Moves, is placed, pushed or driven back into a lethal hex regains a Wound and they ignore the wound from the lethal hex.
"Nauseous Revulsion" is another Cycle card where enemy fighters get -1 attack dice if near one or more friendly fighters.

Daughters of Khaine have a Melusai in there, so you're good.

There's Daughters of Khaine and Ironjawz left, at least in regards to what we know of.

It’s usually eight per cycle, isn’t it?
So we’ve had Beastmen, Beastelves, Hobgoblins, and Undead-ish.
Nurgle and Ogres are next.
DoK and Savage Orcs would round out the eight then, and on to next season.

Wurmspat looks pretty weak to me so far.

With low speed and only one defence dice until inspiring, I don't see those 12 wounds on 3 models lasting too long.

Maybe there are faction specific cards yet to be revealed that will change my ming.

A Medusa would be better than a regular snakewoman, though, for the I-don't-want-a-CoB reaso mentioned before Snd overall more variety for DoK heroes wouldn't be bad, either.

If there's the DoK and Ironjawz (= proppa Brutes and not them weedy Ardboyz, yes?) left that means the E2B warbands don't count for the "usual" 8 bands? That's what made me think that Wurmspat and Ogre would be the final bands when I talked about it with my brother over the weekend. Or are those from Nightvault?! So many GW releases.

The Banshees and Sequitors don't count towards any season, they are remnants of a standalone WHU board game.

I knew about the game, but not if they still count. Nice that they're a bonus, not replacing full bands. A Seraphon Wsrband with a plastic Kroxigor would've been ace, though.

Can the new warbands used with just the Shadespire and Nightvault maps and tokens? Checking the new box there's this new hex flipping mechanic, but can you deck build and play without this if I go and buy the Snarlfangs to play this evening? I want them anyway and don't feel like searching for my other cards if I take one of my older warbands.

I've got to say, I like the look of the Nurgle warband. All except the spearman. Like the blessings of the Grandfather, he was slowly growing on me. But the 360 view of him on the NZ site doesn't do him any favors. The...tail he has is questionable.

That's not a tail. It's a rectal prolapse. I didn't think GW would ever go that far in portraying a truly Nurglesque character in model form, but I have to admit to being a bit impressed. I look forward to them eventually going equally 'all-in' with a Slaaneshi model...
