So, how do you position your Chaos Warriors size and rank wise?

I've been given two arguements.

6x2 because you get more attacks in, and that rank bonus isn't what warriors we're made for. Personally, this makes more sense, and is lower points wise than the following.

5x3 because you get an extra rank bonus and it is more durable to ranged fire, but less attacks and more prone to flank attacks.

Edit: Now that I think about it, maybe this should be in tactics. Feel free to move.

I go with 6x2, the wide frontage is to be expected because you are getting more attacks.

However, I do understand the argument for 5x3, but Warriors are expensive as it is.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

I use both 6x2 and 5x3 depending on how the points for the army work out. One thing to remember with 5x3 is the ability to re-order the unit on deployment. If your opponent has a fighty list, it may be advantages to start the game as 6x2+3 or 7x2+1.

Generally 6x2, though it might get unwieldy sometimes (being too wide to charge for me once, by less than a base!)

But in combat, the extra guy has helped.
