touching the edge of terrain w/ the base of oyur model, count for cover?
if so, does it count as actually being IN cover?

Yes. Page 22 of the rulebook, second bullet point under "Exceptions". Target models who's bases are at least partially inside area terrain are in cover.
if your base touches the cover, do you take any tests associated w/ it? difficult/dangerous? move thru cover?
