I didn't see this posted on here, so I wanted to get word out about it to some Dakkaites.

Borderlands in Greenville, SC, is hosting a very unusual type of tournament. It's 4 rounds, played with 4 different gaming systems. Specifically:

Round 1--WH Fantasy, 2000 pts

Round 2--Flames of War, 900 pts (Late War)

Round 3--40k, 1850 pts

Round 4--Warmachine, 35 pts

The tournament starts at 9 am, with an entry fee of $10. The store owner has gotten prize support from GW, PP, and Frontline (is that who does FoW? I can never remember), so he says it'll be the biggest prize support he's ever had for a tournament.

Painting will be judged and scored with a Painting award, but overall winners will be based only on battle points and sportsmanship.

If you don't play all 4 systems, you can partner up with a buddy or team. The entry fee is for the group as a whole in that case (they basically play the role of one tournament entry), so you could play 40k and Warmachine, let your buddy play FoW, and recruit a Fantasy player from your gaming crew to handle that one. Should be a fairly interesting day of gaming. If you are interested in participating, but are missing a player for one or more systems, contact the TO to see about getting linked up with others in your same boat. Check out www.borderlands.us for all the details and information.
