The army I made for tournaments is 1503 points, would this be acceptable?

The thing in question is adding hvy bolter sponsons to the two preditors in my army, or I could keep it under 1500 by adding a 4th gk termie to my grandmaster's retinue (he is attached to my space marine army as far as the ruls are concerned)

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.

I've played in some (and when I say some, I can count them on one hand) tournaments that allowed you to be over on points, but they were FLGS tournies, not GW tournies. For the most part, you're going to have to bite it and drop something to stay under, especially in something sanctioned.

WH40K
Death Guard 5100 pts.
Daemons 3000 pts.

At a tourny, even 1 point over isn't kosher.

Check out my blog for bat reps and pics of my Ultramarine Honorguard (Counts as GK) Army!

k, I thought about it and the more I do I like the thought of another kill all gk termie better than sponsons i might not use.

As a general rule, 1500 points or less means exactly that, especially in a tourney environment.

Yes... don't go any points over! It's unfair to your opponent...

In a competitive tournament environment as the original context of this thread was, it is indeed unfair.
