Space Marines are too friggen easy. I play Tau and I enjoy painting the vehicles a lot. You can really show your creativity when it comes to Tau vehicles. Though at the same time I've been having a lot of fun with Eldar models lately. The gems, and all the high-lights are very fun to paint.

Space Marine Chaplain in Terminator Armour.
One of the best sculpts that GW ever put out. He's very satisfying to finish.
As for Space Marines being too easy, that depends on the quality you'd like to paint them to I guess.

Hm.... would have to be the first model i ever painted. A regular old space marine =p. I used to do blood angels so, he was of course a blood angle.... I was never able to make the same color red as i did on him....

The original RT era Imperial Assasin.. lovely model for the time and it came out surprisingly well even in the simplest of colour schemes.

The AOBR boss was pretty fun to paint. That guy looks scary with some good paint on um.

And the new Ork nobz are fun as well.

Any dreadnought. I love all the little gribbly details on them. Painting the different metals and corrosion is fun.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.

That will be imperial guardsmen for me, the fact that you can order enough to completely get an unique look and the rough look makes for excellent training material.
furthermore if you've read the codex (new edition) then you must have seen the amount of diffrent schemes available. And every time i only need to look at that page for inspiration.

Now, Luna, it looks beautiful, but you gotta lower your contrast. It's too hard to see all the wonderful painting that's going on in that!

Probably this Monolith. Mostly because I loved how it turned out. Its by far not my most technically best painted model. But I went with just a rough idea of the colors and ran with it. It was the first model painted for the necron army. Love the results and how the rest of the army looks.

I have a couple for different reasons. The first one is just my fav for many reasons. Its one of my only minis that I can actually say I painted well enough. My only complaint is the pants, but I could easily fix it. Also it was the ONLY grot to kill a SM in a Kill Teams mission, and to add insult to injury, survived a whole shooting phase lol

As always this is one of my fav conversions and it also was a blast to paint. GrotNob (and the spikes on his shoulder pad are actually bullet tips. Yes, Grots are tiny lol)

And as far as painting I think this FlashGits skin just looks the gak. Its the first Ork I tried this paint job on and I think still the best looking lol

There aren't a lot of models I actually ever finish painting, and I think this is some of my best work. Plus it looks cool.
