Hi,

How do I find contact info to sign up for these tournaments? One of them i recognize as mikhaila's (The Big Show) so I know I can contact him directly... but for the others? Specifically, I was hoping to possibly sign up for:

Wizcon Conflict in Philadelphia, PA on June 11-13th
The Big Show in Media, PA on July 24-25th

And possibly:
ICGT in Baltimore, MD on July 10-11th

These are all listed at this page on GW's website.

Thanks for any info guys... I'm totally new to playing/registering for tournaments (just played my first local one for fantasy this past weekend) and I don't have any idea how to go about it.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

You will need to search the interwebs to find information.

For example, the page for WizCon Pa:
http://www.wizardworld.com/home-pa.html

The Big Shoe is Mikila's store and he should post the rules and information here, but might not since the problems with the St. Valentine's Day massacre.

But with no links, you are on your own.

Thanks for the wizard link, and you're right about mikhaila's. I also did some web crawling and found out that ICGT stands for "Inner Circle Grand Tournament", which is a local gaming club around here that I know. They're still finalizing the venue and haven't posted up details yet.

That looks really useful, tastytaste... but a lot of them seem to be missing? From the three I listed above, only the ICGT is listed...

The tournaments at Wizardworld are a very last minute addition. Aaron has run the conflict GT for a couple of years now up at Toywiz in NY. They are now going to run similar tournaments at the Wizardworlds. They should be putting up info for each one on the WizardWorld website, this is the page for toronto, I'm assuming other tournaments will be similar. http://www.wizardworld.com/gaming-toronto.html

The Big Show is one of those things that sort of just happened last year, with several people throwing out ideas for the format, and me getting dragged in since they knew I could be conned into hosting it.) From there it grew, went over good last year, and we were set to repeat it when the IndyGT circuit was set up. I'll be hosting it again this year in our new bunker. Nidal Nasr of the Warmongers will be TO for the event. BigGunz-NE will be helping out like always with most of the work setting up, making scenery, and the million other little things that need to happen. It's a strange event, based around having a good time, drinking heavily on Saturday night, and playing great big armies. Format is 2999 pt armies with no special characters. It came about because a lot of players in the NE wanted to get together and have a good time. You can send me email at MikenJudyc@aol.com and info will be going up at www.BigGunz-NE.com along with online registration. I have to corner the ever crafty Nidal and pin him down on some details. Plans are to add 40k to the mix as well, since we have quite a bit of room that we didn't have last year. A lot will be getting ironed out this weekend, and I will hopefully details and registration up soon.

ICGT is short for Inner Circle Grand Tournament. Inner Circle is a game club that is centered around the bunker in Baltimore and GamesandStuff, a local FLGS. Originally, it was going to be held at historicon in the Baltimore Convention Center. With the total meltdown of HMGS, ousting of half the board, and Hcon moving up to Philadelphia at the last moment, ICGT will not be held at Hcon.
Where it is going to be held I don't know yet. GW and IC are looking at a couple different options that keep it around Baltimore, and on those dates. Inner Circle has a website at http://icgc.users-board.net/forum.htm Scooter is the main person to talk to (Nicolas Walters.) The decision by Mr. Kirby to move GW HQ down to Memphis also throws a spanner in the gears, as that's taking up a lot of the promotions department's time. It will happen, but the details remail...flexible.)

Hope all that helps.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

If that's your region, you can also check out the NOVA Open in Northern Virginia (Chantilly). Currently listed still as Aug 7 in Springfield, VA, but official date (change is in for GW site) is 8/14 in Chantilly (dulles expo center).

Thanks for the info, mikhaila! And MVBrandt, I'll look up the info for that one, too.

Have to sort of pace myself given the wife's general disdain for warhammer-related events, but one a month for the summer should do nicely with these in June, July, and August

Always making updates. Many events do not get a site up till a few months out. Check back every so often GW keeps on adding events all the time.
