The Plague Terminators has arrived with Typhus ... the smell of Plastic Cement mixed with Zap a GAP is something Nurgle would be very proud of...
maybe perhaps Slannesh as well definitely not something you want to sniff! ...

With them been a rather small compact army , i have decided to give them better than usual bases. They'll have to roll around till i get them :3

I have came to the conclusion. If i paint like 10% of an army because its my FOTM , it'll do nothing other than making it difficult for me to sell / trade
if i lose interest in it. So i leave them unpainted , the only army im painting steadily atm is Orks!

I look forward to purchasing those DG Termies from you then.....all NAKED!

Im going to paint up Typhus first to see how i do.

Luna's not the only "Lazy Wargamer" I have a fudgeton of Marines and Catachans to paint I just have no motivation...

Well its mainly because my desk is covered in scrapbooking paper that if I touch and the wife finds out well you dont want to know....

Painting is a steady process a five minature at a time process agreed but it happens.

I dont know if im lazy or not , it still takes effort to assemble things. I think im mainly scared of ruining the model when i paint it :'/

I agree with you there I have to stare at a model forever before I paint it. My Valkyrie is one example it looks so pretty now how pretty will it look with several coats of Catachan green though.

I cringe thinking about it...But your models look really good your Orks (Yes I have looked at your gallery) look brilliant very very good. So why are you so afraid of painting your wolves??

I find with Marines one piece at a time armour plates,Trim,then gentle highlighting to raise some areas. Is it the first time you've painted a Marine? heheh their not as scary as they look when you get a flow they are surprisingly easy to paint.

Mainly because its ok for Orks to be dirty, i can mess up on painting and fix it easily , or sometimes its not noticeable at all.
But marines on the other hand... i dont have confidence or experience painting them T-T

Meh just jump at them and start paining, i have found with maines do them slowly when you get to highlights they make or break a model, to thin and they dont look any differnt, to thick and they look a little OTT.

Throw on some [music of choice], sit down, stare that mini in the eye, and just start painting! Any mistakes can be fixed. I mean I know you can obviously paint orks very well, space marines are not that hard. And remember if a model comes out like complete, unfixable gak you can always simply green the pain(t) away!

Been quite busy lately , the bases i have been waiting for has arrived , the Space Wolves can finally
balance on their own without relying on my miraculous balancing.

They arnt in any particular FOC , over all view: The Redeemer was abit easier to assemble thanks for the earlier LR converted gun wagon i worked on.


The theme for my Space Wolves will be "Death on the Snow Field" ,
Its a tragic tale that takes place on an Urban Ice Planet , to rescue an orphanage school. But upon arrival everything is in ruins...

I have thought really hard about whether to put wolf pelts and decorations on my special dread. I figured i dont have to! there is nothing wrong with
a unique walking church sort to speak. Thus i proudly presents the Dreadnought , Chaplain Chrno ( Chrno Crusade xD)
There are supposed to be ghosts of the dead orphans , but that will have to wait till i order them. So till then... they'll be played by the usual bincho and pikachu ^-^v

Other than the giant clock , representing Chrono have the ability to interact with time , instead of the normal clock hands , it has a flaming clock hand going counter clock wise.
Resonating with the dead spirits of the not so distant past?

Finally , the Long Fangs as well on their deserving bases. The pair of Vindicator ... not quite sure what to think of them.
Upon seeing the extra frame of upgrades i thought it would look larger , or atleast buffer. But no... basically an over expensive Rhino with a cannon -_-

The spirits (or anime stuff) are the same type of effect as Wood Elve trees with spirits on them.

If im not mistaken , i think i read somewhere Space Wolves have the most sympathy out of all Space Marine chapters when it comes to
rescuing anything they can. So they are accompanied by bunch of walking churches ( dreads ) and i will be adding some sort of musicians ,
my older dread have organ pipes etc etc for performing requiems. So naturally they are followed and surrounded by lots of souls.

hey luna i got a really good idea, pick up a paintbrush!

p.s this is extremely hypocritical of me XD

I like the dread and the clock idea, but the flaming clock hand is a bit over the top for me.

Some really well positioned models here Luna, especially the Dreadnaught (except for the flaming giant area above it, which I think spoils the model, making it appear slightly too grandoise) and the Sergeant model for the Long Fang squad armed with Plasma Cannons. Lastly, where are the bases from?

I think the flaming clock is awesome. I would definatley buy it, well I would if I had money, lol!

They are from Dark Art Miniatures , if i didnt remember wrong , they have "bought" some dakka member's bases
