-Guys
So doing stuff for my blog today. They just posted round 2 will be back and update this thread with results as I get them. I know at least Blackmoor has won his first game as well as few others. Lots of great painted armies today where as the last few days were a let down on that front. IG are about almost 15-20% of the armies as well as a lot of Space Wolves count as forces. Also if anyone has some questions let me know see if can get you answers.y
Round 2 Looks like we got 5 tables with max points.
Only one IG made it and that was Leafblower from Ard' Boyz.
Round 3
So looks like we have IG vs SM and Ork vs Daemons (Bill Kim) on the final tables for each group.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Space Wolves by Thomas aka Goatboy wins best over for entire convention.
Correction not Space Wolves but Space Marines takes other groups overall.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
More importantly possible cheating captured video in top tables will go over the tape and report as warranted.

Fox news is generally politics. Stuff like calling out cheating in tournaments before reviewing all the video is more MSNBC's bag.

This has me curious.
I was at Adepticon on Saturday. Mainly strolled around watching all the team tournament games. I saw some questionable things, too.
Thought about staying and watching Sunday's 40k Championship, but passed and went home. Oh well.
This has me intriqued and disgusted. Many who try and talk a good game and look to be "players ", ultimately fail when pressure to win overtakes them.

I am a journalist now hehe? I would totally agree with your statement if I had put up names. I am investigating allegations I had video running all around so have to go through it first before I give out names or details. Isn't that fair for everyone? +1
...and keep the unrelated OT politics trolling out of the thread gannam.
On Adepticon, I was there and I got shocking second hand reports of collusion offers other teams got as well (and righteously refused). First hand, I experienced the classic small time stuff; sports dings from people who lost, as well as cheat measuring, "special dice" and the like, but that was small stuff I just accept now with the "scoring" system for sports and desperate players.
Overall, from my experience it was totally great!

Its almost utterly irrelevant. the cost in sustaining a suit can be life draining. I know.

I guess I'm just don't get it. People actually ask others to throw matches so they can score higher? Sacrifice integrity for a smidgeon worth of product?
I only had 1 match where I wasn't really keen on what 1 of the team members was doing. He rolled into a high lipped box that I couldn't always see his rolls. He wasn 't clear about where the rolls were assigned. I then began to watch his movements in round 4. Classic move the miniature and the tape measure for an extra inch. Again, intentional..not sure? It really didn't matter as he was going to be well within assault range so why do it?
After the match I talked with my partner and we both felt "odd" about the guy. I should have asked him to slow down and let me know what was going on but it really didn't fully add up to me until I sat back and walked through it in my mind.
Again, I don't know if he cheated, I just don't really know what he was doing and couldn't see his rolls.

Its a good thing there were sports scores so you could mark him down afterward behind his back, instead of confronting him to his face. That would have been awkward... :p

Let's see...
*People using flimsy measuring by floating tapemeaures to gain extra inches.
*People extending tapemeasures 12" for 6" movement to help judge distances easier.
*People using 'special' dice for leadership and special saves. People using Casino dice which require a flat surface and rolled a long distance or else it is cheating.
*People making extravagant 'counts as' but then exploiting the 'counts as' for things like LOS and templates and assaults by making shooting that couldn't be possible if they used the stock model.
*People ignoring rules for common things when they clearly know how the rules work...
This is common every tourney... People only care when the guy who comes out on top uses one or all of these common cheats. If someone needs to win like that, then so be it.
