Hey everyone.

I'm making a night raiders version of the catachan jungle fighters. my veterans are gonna have the heads of the space marine scouts with the night vision goggles. I want to put targeting lasers on the lasguns and what not but i gotta figure out how i would make them. would i use green stuff? or are there any models with things that look like them on the sprues?

Regards

Sounds like a cool idea. But I started thinking: wouldnt a laser sight show the enemy exactly where your troops are, while your own troops just se a dot of laser at "something solid" ahead of them? Or have I misinterpreted targeting lasers?

Im sorry if I sound rude, but I was just thiking out loud...
I bet the models would look cool if you find the parts.

Well, if the enemy is using night vision too then they will see the laser also along with the ir emmitted by the night vision goggles. But in game terms it doesnlt matter and the look you are shooting for will look good. I think the lasguns already have a targeting laser on them which is the little nub abouve the barrel. But if you want an idea on how to make a small laser just take the small bit below the nozzel of a flamer ans it looks like a targeting laser.

Yeah you can't see a targeting laser unless you got NVG's on. I'll have a look around all the sprues and see what i can find. thanks for the help. ill have a look at the flamer.
