Does anyone actually have the results for the Warhammer Fantasy and 40K events? IE how did people place, what were the armies?

Hi

I am the captain of the Team Tournament Winners - the Sons of Shatner. We are also the first Canadian Team to take the event.

We ran quad identical orks.

Our list:
Warboss on Bike, claw, body
5 nob bikers (troops), all different - Johnny dies first (no upgrades), one with claw, one with claw and Bosspole, waagh banner, painboy, cybork bodies for all.
30 Boyz, 3 big shootas, nob with claw and pole
10 grots
12 lootas
3 cannons

Total = 1000 on the nose.

On the way to victory we defeated 3 Foot 2 in round three (the winners of the primer and they took 3rd at the real event) and the defending champs (IIRC) led by Mr. Sparks and company in round 4. We rode out 5 massacres, 2 middling wins, and very minor win to take 188 battle points, 20 heads and I cannot recall how many Command tokens along the way.

Our theme was the four riders of the Orkpocalypse - we each converted and painted our armies to match our riders, with skin tones that matched the rider. We also had common elements to tie everyone together - black shirts, (mostly) brown pants (Death broke rank with black pants), weathered armour, and spots of red on some plating/portions of the guns.
- Nate Stevens (me) was war, so I went with the fancy forgeworld where-ever possible and added extra blades and what not to "war-up" the most naturally warlike race in 40K. As the force with the most teeth, it had the most bling.
- Cory Burns - Pestilence featured rebreathers and gas masks on everybody, and his warboss rode in a converted doomwheel. His cannons featured puss launching bowls. Simply an awesome job.
- Bill Kocher- Famine featured a converted Greasus Goldtooth riding a war-track to war and starving half-boy/half zombie boyz. Again, his stuff was really, really great.
- Greg Evers - Death featured a warboss in robes riding a converted landspeeder joined my converted deathkopta bikers. He had bone cannons converted from old undead chariots and skull should er pads on everyone. He used power slythes for his power claws.

- Our display board was a ruined imperial factory with heli-pad, constructed and painted primarily by myself and Fenris-77 (unfortunately situated on the wrong side of the Atlantic at the moment) and Bill. All our basing was done to match the location of the models on the board.

Of the four of us - Bill and Cory's were phemonimally converted and painted, while Greg and I were merely very good/great. We scored 51/60 for painting and 45/45 for theme.

We lost a single sportsmanship point along the way - so hats off to our opponents along the way who clearly didn't lay the screws to any of us.

Our total on the results sheet was 412 points, although the annouced total was 397. Team Atl was second (and I believe either best generals or best sportsmen) at 382 points with 3 Foot 2 taking third.

Cheers,
Carlos the Craven

Well no wonder you won if you did it in the name of HIs Divine Bloatedness. The OtS is the way forwards.

Congratulations on the win.. now.. where are the pictures ?!

Wow. Someone had a 15 for sportsmanship? It dropped from 40 something down to 15. Huh.

And Team Ringer was only a 0 for sportsmanship. He must have been an ass!

I had to rekey that teams scores due to an extra comma in the csv export. The 15 was an error. They actually received a 55 - I just fat-fingered it.

Hey, we got middle of the pack(thanks to a bad pairing of opponent halves in Round 3 to Sad Pandas and Reecius and I completely failing our Stupidity check in Round 4 and pulling the greatest tactical blunder we possibly could).

Well it look like I did what I set out to do, I brought my best looking army and scored a 40 in appearance, but it was not that competitive in those scenarios, and I lost a lot of battle points.

I also had a lot of rules issues in my last 2 game because Yakface told me to stick up for myself after I had a lot of rules issues in the last game off the Gladiator and I did not say anything.
