Read all that. I did a deal with him in person. That was a while ago when he first posted that thread. He was getting out of the game, no time to play his chaos marines. Looks like he's got more now than before though.

Can you post a quote of what Paypal sent you? I know that Old Man Ultramarine and several others were planning to dispute it as well. I don't see how they could have "sided" with theunsane if you haven't received anything- is it just that they couldn't issue a refund?

How is this possible? Did he give any tracking information to paypal? Did he respond to your dispute/claim? Did you prematurely end dispute/claim?

Cut/paste your message from Paypal saying no refund.

I just went to Paypal and I received a full refund.

3/22/2010 04:00 PDT - PayPal: Buyer escalated this dispute to a Claim.
3/22/2010 04:00 PDT - Buyer: This seller attempted fraud against me and several other people on a site I frequent where trade agreements are reached for gaming items. The site has since banned the user and several others are disputing transactions they are involved in with him. The site is http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/221977.page this basically details what happened and they have not made contact on here or on that site with any of the buyer's or trade partners. I would greatly appreciate you getting this resolved as soon as possible.
3/21/2010 21:52 PDT - Buyer: I have now seen that your IP has been banned from the site we made the deal on. You have tried to steal from myself and many others and we don't plan to stand for it. The link to the posting about it all can be found here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/221977.page
3/17/2010 18:13 PDT - Buyer: Now I see that many others have had the same reaction from you and the phone number you offered me is not yours. I want my money back right away and I bet many others do too
3/17/2010 08:01 PDT - Buyer: I've tried to contact you on the forumns we used to agree on this deal about 6 times over several days with no response. I've asked you for a shipping number or proof of shipping and have not gotten a response. You have still not taken the items I paid for off of your list of things available and another poster told me you sold them some of the same items you sold me and don't have enough listed to cover both our orders.

Clearly shows on timeline that refund was initiated and issued. It should also show that in your account balance. Hit payments received to see if you recently received refund.

Your dispute responses are wishy/washy. Paypal wants facts and all the other stuff means little.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
When you paid did you click goods, services or eBay items on Paypal send money page?

This may be why your getting responses like this.

Other than that, I don't know.

Did you look into that? What does shipping site say about that tracking number?

after a few frustrating phone calls I was escalated with paypal to a supervisor. The problem was the seller was trying to say what I bought was "intangible" and the people at paypal were confused. The supervisor I spoke to was a fellow war gamer (thank god) and knew exactly what I was supposed to have bought. He got my money back to me and said he would note for any other victims of this seller that the items were physical and what they were.

I only trade in US thanks.

Unless I've mis-read something, it sounds like that was his response to Paypal's inquiry about the buyers not receiving items (that they were intangible, something he did not have to ship).

The only options the buyer has to decide between when sending a payment for a purchase is Goods, Services, or Ebay Items.

The seller has appealed our decision and asked us to review the case again.

What happens next

We're reviewing the seller's request and will contact you if we need any additional information from you.

I strongly suggest anyone who bought stuff from him, file a claim with Paypal. If you paid by check or money order. Check users, try to stop payment on check. Money orders users, if you have receipt, go to where you received MO and see what you can do.

I just checked today I got a full refund as well. So if paypal doesn't find the claim in your favor you should probably give them a call or something. Since multiple of us have received full refunds.

He disputed my refund as well, but I doubt he has any chance of getting it repealed considering how many people disputed.

Maybe it could help if you passed the name of the supervisor to the other victims in this thread so that they can use him as reference in case they call Paypall.

I have recently been contacted by PayPal to provide more information. They wanted to know what items were supposed to have been purchased along with what was the delivery method.

I put in my long detailed response to them and again quoted the dakka posts relevant. I'm hoping this resolves soon.
