So next Thursday there is a small tourny at my LGS. Its 1000pts and all the missions, as far as I know, are objective based, with each objective containing a prize. Now I've been playing against some of these people, and watching others, and I know that no one takes any psychic defense, so Lash has been very successful. Now heres the list i've been playing-

Winged Lash DP

7x PM, 2 PG, PF Champ in Rhino
8x NM, all SB, Champw/ Doom Siren + PW in rhino

2 Oblits
1 Defi

I think the NM squad is TOO flashy for sure, but I love the Doom Siren, esp since alot of people play MEQ. I was wondering if I should take one small NM squad w/ the Doom Siren, and then another w/ just a blast master. I also think I should shave off the PM down to just 5. I also don't know about the Defi. I wanna add another Lash in here somewhere but, like everything else, IDK!!

So can anyone help me out here? Please? I know how to play, and how to win, etc. I'm just not that used to playing at such low pts levels. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you're objectives based and the whole point is getting those objectives to get prizes...I would focus on that above actually "winning", unless you must get the majority of objectives to get a prize or something.

Basically take a lot of troops (PMs are tough to push off an objective) with a mix of melta+flamer weapons + power fists in rhinos. I would drop the defiler for sure and spend the points on at least one more troop squad. For 5 more pts than those 2 oblits you could get a full 5man squad of havocs with 4x autocannon to drop any enemy transports/light vehicles with no trouble.

Lash is up to your personal play style I guess,but I would probably just take a base DP and spend the points beefing up your troops.
