Ok. Maybe I'm just not getting this but I'm looking at the optional weapon lines for the two special Murder Class Cruisers for Chaos. The ones for the Plagueclaw and Despicable Ecstasy.

Is someone able to help me understand exactly what they do instead of a normal Murder's gun stats?

Basically it just adds lances to the port and starboard sides, by reducing the weapon batteries' strength down to 4 instead of 10. It does not cost you anything.

So it would look like this on your armament sheet:
Port Lance, S2
Port Weapon Battery, FP4
Starboard Lance, S2
Starboard Weapon Battery FP4
Prow Lance, S2
