Hello Dakka!

'Ard Boyz season is upon us, and due to the official event being on the 15th, which is the 3rd Saturday, and our normal schedule of hosting a GW tournament on the 2nd Saturday, we're going to host our standard event on the 8th, followed by the 'Ard Boyz Preliminaries on the 15th.

So, on May 8:

40k
'Ard Boyz-style Tournament Warm-up
2500 points - 3 Rounds - $10 entry
Prizes to the top 3 finishers

And

Warhammer Fantasy Battle
Standard Rogue Trader Tournament
2250 points - 3 Rounds - $10 entry
Prizes for Best Overall, Best General, Best Sportsman, and Best Army

Then, on May 15th

'Ard Boyz Preliminary Round
2500 points - 3 Rounds - Entry is Free!
The top 3 finishers get invited to the semi-finals and prizes here in the store.

Please note: the 'Ard Boyz rules for 2010 are up, and there is a reminder there that you must sign up on the GW online store to receive prizes from the semi-finals. From the rules:

Register on the GW Online Store - This is necessary
for you to receive prize support in the Semi Final
rounds onward as we are awarding Online Store
vouchers to the winners. If you are not registered,
you will not receive prizes!

It's a lot of 40k to play in two weeks, but if you want the table time to try your list, we'll be here. I'll be posting up results after each event both here and in full detail with complete lists on the new blog: www.captureandcontrol.blogspot.com, so stay tuned!
