Maybe I'm a little late on the scene here, but I found the cheapest possible to make a Vendetta with parts that every guard player has in his bits box.

You'll need:

A Valkyrie
6 Lascannons from the heavy weapon sprue
2 of the short armor plates from the old IG tank sprue
knife
glue

For the nose mounted cannons:

1. Cut 2 Lascannon barrels just before the coils

2. Cut the multilaser that comes with the Valk off, position barrels like so:

For the wing mounted cannons:

1. File the sides of the cannons that are going to be glued together (will make sense in a minute)

2. Use the armor plate as a rack, gluing it on top of the twin lascannons. It should turn out like this:

3. Glue or magnatize lascannons under wings

Finished product, sorry for the bad quality, all i have is a cellphone camera:

Since people seem to be reading this tutorial still, here's a much better picture of the completed model:

Cool I might make one. Thank you.

Guilliman and the Ultramarines are like Manchester United, everyone hates them because they are so awesome!

An alternative, which is also rather simple that I did.

What I used was:

Valkyrie Kit.
Imperial Guard Battleforce.
1 spare heavy weapon sprue lascannon.

------------------
Specifically it was.

Valkyrie Kit.
Imperial Guard Sentinal.
4 Heavy Weapon Team lascannons.

Take the spare lascannon from the sentinel kit, shave some bits on its side down. Glue it onto the right side of the Valk, then put the shield over it.

Use the lascannon that came with the Valkyrie box, simply snip the 2 corners away with clippers and swap it onto the left side.

For the lascannons under the wings. Cut the back of the heavy weapon sprue lascannons off where the 'power cell' type thing is with clippers. Cut down the sides a little bit (removing the 'skull' was what I did I think) and simple 'wedge' them into the multiple rocket pod casing and they look great.

MeanBob, can you post a photo of what it looks like all pulled together? I'm curious how the wing lascannons look.

Thanks for this tutorial! It really came in handy for me.

Saved me a bunch of money too!

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.
