Just dropping by to thank everyone involved, even if they considered and not backed all the same. Perhaps we'll entice you next time, no onwards to deliver to everyone's satisfaction this one at hand :-)

Congratulations for this project ! This was not for me, but I'm very glad the market will have another box of plastic goblins available. More choice is always nice to have.

Yep, big congrats on getting this one funded. I had to drop from $100 to $50 since I'm very tight for funds right now, but I waited until it as safely funded, and I can always add it back in via PM later on.

Next time when it's Goblins V2, please consider going ALL IN from the start with those extra army pledges and options to get the campaign (closer to) funded from the start, and so people are aware of the options from Day 1. No idea how many backers may have taken a look and then left who might have added for Sisters of Shieldmaidens or Orcs, etc but never even knew to check out the campaign later on. The faster it's funded, the better it is for everyone involved.

Regardless, very glad to see it succeeded.

Nice, but I how is the situation with buying plastic paladins in Germany.

About 6 weeks ago I emailed Battlefield Berlin which replied they should be getting a new shipment in 2 weeks (about 4 weeks ago) but they are still not available.

@willb2064
Thank you.

@StygianBeach
We have no outstanding orders from our retailers, last shipment was to a retailer in Poland.
If Battlefield Berlin has any issues with any of their orders placed I am pretty sure they'd contact us, we praise ourselves for the relationships we hold with our retailers.

We will be making the Krumvaal items available in the very next days. I don't know if one can realize it from the video, the tree house in particular weighs more than 1one and a half kilos(!), it is literally HUGE!

The terrain looks... good in parts. If it's almost as detailed as Tabletop World but much cheaper, I may pick up some.

You need to get your sculptors out there and visiting medieval buildings and taking reference photos though. The stonework, in particular, rarely looks quite right. Too many big square stones; too many archways that don't have the correct construction (the bridge arch is much better than the gatehouse arch but still not quite right); and the interaction between the timber frame and stone wall on the smaller building also looks wrong.

@Ian Sturrock
Ours is more affordable and it's also much larger than Tabletop World's 25-28mm scale compared to our 28mm heroic (thus more like 32mm). That's the reason we placed our miniatures in the videos. Those of you who have one of our Shieldmaiden miniatures (for the time being the staple of Shieldwolf Miniatures) in their hands will better comprehend the size of the items in offer.
We have heard of Tabletop World and it does some really exquisite terrain, thought they too will have to agree that Shieldwolf has come to fill in the gap in the larger scale for our hobby. We have kept the range very affordable, there's NO Kickstarter with immediate delivery of the items, and we allow free shipping in the larger items. Worldwide.

As far as detail and sculpt aesthetics, all feedback is welcome. We took our time with these (infact delaying the release for over a year, also because this is not via crowdfunding), as the goal of the company is to outclass everyone else in this category.
People will be the judge of that as we count on their support. We appreciate your consideration. :-)

On the treehouse - if you put the joint just below the walkway, instead of just above, it would be really well hidden!

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Wasn't going to say anything, but since you're making claims that folk may read and act upon - TTW's buildings are not out of scale for "heroic 28mm"/32mm. Some of their first, small, early range were more towards the oldschool/historical conception of 28mm, but that stopped years ago and doesn't apply to any of their current range to my knowledge.

I don't know how they'll scale in relation to your stuff, that depends on whether you've chosen to enlarge things beyond "in scale" to account for models being on bases.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

This should be front and centre in all of your mentions of these products. When I saw your first post, I thought "those look nice" followed by "large pieces of heavy resin from the other side of the world - ah well, I won't be getting those" and then not even bothering to look at the website. I'm sure many hobbyists from the US (never mind Aussies and Kiwis) would have had similar thoughts.

@Zedmeister
Affirmative, our resin, the same we use in our minis and not lower quality due to the big costs of casting items of this size.

@Alpharius @Illumini
Thank you.
*taking notes* :-)

@Yodhrin
We are not making any claims, I merely stated what I saw. I didn't know they have different scales nor was I the one who even mentioned them, we are still hobbyists and the one building that I saw myself however was what I said. Stunning, but smaller. I think it's fair enough? :-)

@Azazelx
Yes, we have always been very competitive with shipping costs but if some people haven't realized that then it's our fault as we didn't succeed in communicating it properly. I appreciate you pointing this out. We have fixed the images plus uploaded the new Krumvaal items, now available at the webstore.

Thank you for your consideration.

@Shield Wolf It would be good to get a pic of a mini next to the terrain to get a sense of scale and also some measurements on the tree house please,

I better start saving like mad now especially with the PM not far away!

The items are not in our HQ as they are in the Studio where the video presentation was shot.
I did take some screenshots if that's of any help though :-)

After the awesome response our Sisters of Faith received for our opening to the science fiction wargaming community, more futuristic goodies see the light of day in our webstore!
This time it's the nordic race of our sci-fi world, with more goodies waiting to show up! :-)

The Sisters of Wolves are the descendants of the Krumvaal Northern Alliance, so they descend directly from our Shieldmaidens (just like our Sisters of Talliareum are the predecessors of our Sisters of Faith). The plan is to release a total of 4 factions with full playable armies by the end of 2020.
Thank you all for your consideration and support.

The Sisterhood of the Wolf looks great. Will they be plastic miniatures? If so, will there be enough helmeted heads to make all the sisters with helmets? Even more than the Sisters of Faith, I'd like these Wolf Sisters to have helmets.

There's going to be a Kickstarter early 2020 for an entire sci-fi army in which there's going to be a hard-plastic kit planned, affirmative. We can't reveal more than that atm.
What I can state is that if the project performs really well, we will have stretch goals for more kits and armies, but we aren't counting that much on crowdfunding like previous years.
If it goes really well, great. If not, let it fund and we are cool all the same. The company is creating high quality ranges in order to supply our world and our game; little by little we are getting there!
