I just had an awesome (or maybe bad... I dont know, I might be having a stroke) tournament idea ever!
2001 point tournament.
requires you use 3 different codex... 667 points from each available. 1 force org chart, over the entire thing. all units are treated as being the same army for purposes of psychic powers, leadership, auras, and all that jazz.
BLOOD ANGELS + NECRONS ANYONE? FNP + WBB... or any other crazy shenanigoats you can think of!

 After the orbital strikes, Thunderhawk bombardments, Whirlwinds, Vindicators, fusion and starfire and finally Battle Brothers with flamers had finished cleansing the world of all the enemies of Man, we built a monastery in the center of the largest, most radioactive impact crater. We named the planet "Tranquility", for it was very quiet now.

I would have to say thats a terrible idea.
First most people don't own 3 different armies so you would get a lot of SM count as BA, BT, SW....
Second IG orders would break the game.

The FAQ on this would have to be thicker than the main rule book. Marker lights says who they work for, but can now anyone use them? Does only the Necrons pahse out or does the whole army?
