I've been trying to find something indicating that I may, or not, have Inferno Bolts on other units in a Thousand Sons Chaos Army on other units than the Thousand sons themselves.

Terminators, for example. Why would the commanders equip their Marines with Inferno Bolts, but not their elites?

There's no option for Terminators (or any other units for that matter) to get Inferno Bolts, but it would be logical (in 'story-terms') that the Terminators and any other units in the Thousand Sons armies would use the same ammo.
Sure, a Terminator with Inferno Bolts would go cut through the enemy armoured units like a chainsaw through butter, but... The 'normal' Thousand Sons already do!

It's not because I want the Terminators to get overpowered or so, but it feels somewhat silly.

I'll shoot with the next question before I get any replies to save some time, too.. IF you think that Terminators should use Inferno Bolts, how much/should it cost them anything extra?

This is how I'd want the Thousand Sons Terminators to be:

<insert the normal stats here> 40(ish?) pts/model (The point difference of a normal Chaos Space Marine and a Thousand Sons marine is 8, so I guess those 2 points for them being terminators, and it being a nice round number... *shrug* )
Wargear:
Tactical Dreadnough Armour (terminator armour)
Twin-linked Bolter
Power Weapon

Special Rules:
Slow and Purposefull
Inferno Bolts
The Sorcerer Commands
Fearless

.. Something like that, and that they've got a Sorcerer, just like the marines but in Terminator Armour.. Whom takes one of the slots making it 1 sorcerer and 4-9 Terminators.

Thoughts?

Theres already an apoc datasheet that covers this. I think 50pts is more reasonable for a fearless terminator with inferno bolts and a 4+ inv save (from MoT).

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

Hey, I actually recognize that one... Although it seems as if I forgot that there were Terminators in there.

Cheers mate! I'd probably never find this in the jungle that is GW's article thingy.
