So I unpacked my sentinel today, and put it together etc. It's all glued together cept for the weapon/s. The multi-laser on the sprue seems to be mis-molded (See pictures)

Sorry for the blurriness, apparently the super-macro lense on my camera doesn't work
It may not be clear what I mean from these pictures, but I hope you see what I mean.
Is this just me being paranoid or is it mis-molded and I should call customer service?

Here, obviously

I don't see anything wrong.

Yes, but consider how awesome it would be to commit seppuku with a powerfist.

^^ The nub for the multi-laser mount is missing to some extent.

It is a mis-mold as far as I am aware, but it is easily remedied (I suggest pinning it in place if you want interchangable weapons, or GS'ing it a new nub) if you don't want to call customer support (I hear they are quite good on this, and will usually send a replacement)

Customer Support don't think it's a mis-mold, how do they think I'm supposed to attach it?

As I previously stated, you'd be best off pinning it or making a new nub from Green Stuff

Hope I've helped

Funny, I normally do this to my sentinel weapons to magnetize them.

Hee hee, same here. Actually, I have 3 of the new kits floating around (I've had them since the codex came out!). I just check all of them, and all of their mulit-lasers are just like yours, with a socket instead of a stud. This is strange, as all of the other weapons (plasma cannon, missile launcher, etc) all have the required studs.

Still, this is an easy fix; if you magnetize your weapons, half your work is already done. If not, a piece of plastic tubing would do the trick. Heck, you might even be able to just use a chunk of sprue as a spacer if you plan on gluing the weapon in place!

I just built 3 last night! I figured there was the same issue, but I don't think it's a problem. I just carved out the hole enough to put a magnet in there.
