Hello all, I am relatively new to 40k (I started in January) and I have been building a Death Guard army. I quite like my little 'plaguelets,' and I have been trying to add a unit of Nurgle bikers. However, I do not particularly like the idea of a bunch of pustulent Hells Angles, and so I have been toying with creating a unit of cavalry to serve as 'counts-as' bikes.

Problem is, I have no idea of what to mount my plague marines on. I have yet to find horse minis that look 'nurgly' enough, and I don't think that giant rats would look all that great. Maybe VC dire wolves? Any and all suggestions would be welcome!

You could use normal chaos horses and use green stuff to make them plaugey, or you could buy a plauge lord on horse and just use the horse but I think its metal so that might be a problem.

While none are seen painted I have seen these first hand and when the horses are given rusted armour and other details thay look very good

They look good. those were the horses i was talking about.
