So, I've been trying to get my girlfriend to collect an army for awhile now. She's more interested in painting and modeling than playing (that's not to say she doesn't enjoy playing, she is just more into the painting and modeling) and we have narrowed her army choices down to a Sisters heavy Witch Hunters army or Chaos Daemons.

She really likes the models for Daemonettes and the ForgeWorld Keeper. I want her to actually win some games as well. So, I need your help for a 2000 point list, here's what I have so far:

HQ:
Keeper of Secrets - Pavane of Slaanesh, Daemonic Gaze, Unholy Might, Transfixing Gaze - 265

The Masque - 100

Herald of Slaanesh - Transfixing Gaze, Unholy Might - 65

Ideas, suggestions?

My only thought is maybe drop one of the squads of Daemonettes for a squad of Seekers and put the Herald onto a steed.

I'm a khorne man myself but I can tell you this:

Field Daemonettes in units of 20, not 10 or they will die in a real hurry.

You can put bloodcrushers in an elite slot if you need a tarpit unit or some staying power (you'll need it).

Drop mawcannon for phlegm.

Flamers and Seekers have their upsides, have her proxy some games with both and see what works best before she buys.

I personally do not like pink horrors but some people are very good with them. Those people however run Tzeentch themed lists.

You have too many icons... not enough staying power and too many upgrades try this out

Heavy Same as you have, 3 grinders with phlegm upgrade.

I was just going to suggest fiends, they kill everything. To make cheap ones I suggest going the way my friend did with spider rider bodies and deamonette tops to make "dryders" as fiends are well lame and expensive.

Flamers are nice little suicide troops, slam them beside a termy squad flame and then die, not a bad waste of 100 points.

My friend runs a 8ish man squad of fiends and two 3 man units of flamers and does pretty well.

Get your girlfriend to play Nob Bikers. Then she'll win some games. Seriously though, Large packs of demonettes and grinders should do it.

That's actually not that bad of a list. The only thing I'd drop outright would be the herald of slaanesh...its nearly completely worthless except in one particular situation.

I also agree that there are way to many icons.
I'd go with 2 large blocks of Daemonettes (at least 18, if not 20), each with an icon. Then take as many smaller squads of horrors as you can. all those squads should have the bolt upgrade, and for 5 points, you might as well grab the changeling as well.

Should work out reasonably well.

Oh yeah...drop the pavane and gaze on the Keeper. That model's going to almost always want to run and then fleet. And since you've got the masque, you don't really need more pavanes.

Oh yeah...tongue for the soul grinders.

I think that horrors are nice, but need bolt to get a lot done against a lot of armies. I run a squad of 10 and one of 13 so far, but I have a small list atm.

Thanks a lot for the advice folks! We plan on doing some playtesting either this weekend or next, get some better ideas as to how things will run. Will post an updated list after that.
