So here is the full story I am in the mood for a summer project but only have the money for one so two armies is not an economically viable option for me right now.

I was going to do a CSM army either counts as BA or just run them as standard CSM I wasn't sure.

Now my FLGS is going to be holding a WHFB grow league just after the launch of the new rule set. I have been tempted to get into WHFB before but the club had marginal interest in it. Now it seems as if several people are on board and I will have an opportunity to play against several opponents.

Now here is the debate I have three 40K armies currently so the temptation to do something different is pretty high. I am also afraid that after the initial oh wow this is cool, WHFB is going to pitter out and no one is going to be playing.

I have vastly too much free time as of late and REALLY need a project to burn some of that time on. I am completely indecisive what do you all think?

Well, you ask on the WHFB board, so you will obviously get all answers as to do WHFB. Vice versa if you do it on the 40K board.

I put one up in both and honestly the 40k players are voting for WHFB too

Although it is interesting both posts have a ton of views but only a handful of votes, do you guys have no opinion or what?

Generally, people just come in and click a button on the poll. They really don't give two gaks if they don't post.

Edit: Oh, and I looked at your 40k thread (and voted for WHFB w/o posting) and there was one vote for 40k and one for WHFB before me, so really no difference)

Right I am not necessarily expecting posts which is why i put up the poll that way their opinion can be delivered in 3 seconds or less with no need to explain themselves.

So either the large view to voting ratio is due to apathy, lack of interest, or .... idk curiousity without wishing to impose their opinion.

I have both codex's actually, but I have no interest in Daemons. Mainly for the stigma that they have right now of being the auto win armies in WHFB. Well that and I am completely under whelmed with the models.

WHFB rumors seem to nerf them a little so they might not be in 8th.

If you already have 3 40k armies i would suggest giving WHFB a try, especially if they are having a grow league.

That being said, if there is little to no interest in fantasy in your area then it will be wasted money.

pick up lizardmen, quickly painted they look good. Finely detailed and painted they are absolutely amazing.
