I'm a long time reader, newer poster (post #4! Woo!). Thought since I finally made an account I'd post some conversions here and there as modeling is my favorite aspect of 40k.

The conversions are nice, the wraith lord especially so. The Flayed ones could have done with a bit more smoothing on the green stuff. There are tons of fingerpoints that are quite obvious.

Would love to see some paint on the FO's maybe that covers some things up.

=\ Those were actually purposeful. I didn't want them smooth since they've recently been ripped from a body, and I wasn't sure how else to get a good effect so I went with mushing my fingers all over them. Some of them have little bumps/bubbles on them too as I want to have some Ork skin included. =D

I'm bad about putting off painting, but I'll post pics when they're done.

Some nice pics there, good job. If you want texture in GS but dont want to sculpt it, look for something with the desired pattern, like foam/sponge and just gently dab it on.

I like the effects on the orb.

The imortal is cool but the flayed ones claws are to long.

I thought I mentioned it on the posting, but the claw length is purposeful. I like extremes. >=D

I like that your tutorials have step by step instructions. I think I would be capable of following those (if I played Necrons, that is). You have a great deal of skill as a converter, and a good eye for making your own bargain armies, I think. I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks Jimsolo! Bargains are typically what I aim for in my conversions. Not so much on the Wraith Lord, though. That one put a dent in my wallet! =P
