Hey gang,

Quick question.  Does anyone know of a good, female, model that I could use as a Warrior Priestess on horseback?  I already have the Bertha Brestfraustrong(?) fig for my priestess on foot.

I was thinking maybe using a mix of high elf silverhelm torso with some human, metal, cav legs.

Anyway, any suggestions?

I've seen several conversions where a Mordheim Sister (Yes, I've also seen it done with Bertha, here rather static pose is quite good for on horseback) was cut in half by the waste and attached to some rider legs. Works perfectly!

What about that old Repanse dy... er... that Joan of Arc character for Bretonnia? (What is her name anyway?) Does she look kinda like an armored priestess? Would it be that hard to swap out that sword she carries for a hammer or somesuch?

Repanse de Lyoness. That would probably work well, though she's a little young and weedy (on purpose, of course).

I was thinking of using St Celestine from 40k as the upper torso. Her armor looks really cool. Maybe a Bretonian Damsel/Sorceress head for the long hair unless I feel like green stuffing it. I wanted to make a female arch lector though for when I can't field Karl Franz on a Dragon.

BAWTRM beat me to it. Those Sigmarite Sisters look perfect IMHO. I dunno 'bout 40k figures for fantasy, 'cept if you want to WYSIWIG Armour of the Gods for High Elves playing with the old Albion items. Just my $0.02.

You know this would go better in the Modeling and Painting forum. You will probably get more answers there.
