Goblin chariots are absolute garbage now, as they take an entire special slot and fear Elves, and Waaagh will make all your warmachine crews run from their weapons.

They can with the spell Waaagh, which is what I was talking about all along. Please pay attention.

I am paying attention. Please be specific and then you won't have to clarify.

magic mushrooms now only let you reroll the number of hits, you don't get extra D6 hits anymore =(

Another bonus for the fanatics is that they end up 1" behind the enemy. This means you get an excellent crossfire opportunity if you manage to break the enemy unit on the turn they charge.

GG

They always ended up 1" behind.

But the kicker is that now even if the fanatic causes you to flee, you eat it again.

The biggest problem with fanatics now is that they no longer stop remaining moves. So one unit can set them all off.

No, you don't just eat it again. You are automatically destroyed thanks to the new cross fire rule.

Indeed... I ripped my night goblin shaman off his gobo chariot back when the 6th ed army book was released and now it looks like I should stick him back on just for the slotless chariot :p At least I didn't glue something in his place

Incorrect. As someone previously stated in this thread, only US5 units crossfire anything.

I just read something else which quite shocked me. Orks and Goblins can't take anymore mercenaries. why? the only army until which hadn't Mercs for fluff were Bretonias and that was about honour and stuff. but before you take the DoWs from an Ork army, why not (in an Errata, I mean) take them from Chaos, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Wood Elves...the list goes on.

Yoor Speeshawl too Gawd!

How are they going to pay them?  Orcs and Goblins do not use currency which is what the DOW want.

Only now do I realize how much I prefer Pete Haines' "misprints" to Gav Thorpe's "brainfarts." :Abadabadoobaddon

Humies can have worthless shiny coins. Orcs will keep all da teef!

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

I'm still gonna use my Ruglud's orcs with my army. The mercenary entries say they can be used by specific armies, and the orc army book doesn't say they can't use mercenaries.

There is an in-depth review of the army book here:
