...but the tens of thousands of people who do will have a chance to win a cool prize.don't be jealous that you won't have a chance to win.

Are you dense or what?

Your reply totally highlights the issue that people have with this offer. One person in "x" amount of thousands of subscribers is going to win this impressive prize. Why on earth would that make someone who isn't that fussed about WD renew their subscription?

I can't pass comment on other countries but in the UK, most yearly magazine subscriptions work out cheaper than if you pay for it monthly, they will give you an extra issue and usually a gift. For me it was a decent camera bag when I signed up for a digital camera mag.

So it's nothing to do with what people think of WD, it's their usual crazy mindset that people have an issue with.

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.
