Under the couch

Actually, after another quick look at the Dark Reaper list entry (page 66 of the Codex) their stats are there, but they are missing a heading.

So you get:
Dark Reapers                     X points/model
                            WS BS S T W I A Ld Sv
                             numbers and stuff
Exarch                    numbers and stuff

Presumably, the top, untitled statline is for the Reapers

I added Mahu's question about the Exarch with a Jump Generator to the intent section, and I also added a question about Farseer powers following the shooting rules (besides LOS, of course).

Could you please add whether or not haywire grenades can do a penetrating hit on a fast skimmer? It was covered in the old Eldar FAQ that is not longer around.

It's no longer needed. Check the new rulebook FAQ, it clearly states that Skimmers moving fast can only ever suffer glancing hits, period.

Bush? No, Eldar Ranger

Regarding the Heavy Weapon Platforms in wave serpents:
Since non-storm guardians Must take an HWP, and since non-storm guardians are allowed to take a wave serpent, then the platform must be able to go in the plane, right? You'd think that if GW meant that only guardian storm squads could buy the transport then they would have used the transport as an option to storm squads.

Wraith,

Fury of the Ancients has been FAQ'd that it doesnt' require LOS. The same thing should technically be done for Vibro Cannons if they really (by the RAW) want them to cause damage out of LOS.

Vibro cannons are artillery, and they follow the rules for such on, I believe, page 56. It states there that all artillery must have the targets in LOS unless it specfically says they can fire indirectly. Since the entry for Vibrocannons does not say so, and it does not have a G in its profile, then they must follow the rules for artillery and thus, may only be fired at targets in LOS.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

just my thoughts on these questions.

ELD.35.02 -- Q: Can the Intercept skill be used to hit (non-Shaken/Stunned/Immobilized) Walkers with grenades on a 4+?  not sure why this is a question since the description of the power has some fluff, then it describes the mechanics of the rules in the last sentence.  they hit vehicles on a 4+.

ELD.43.01 -- Q: Can a Fire Prism contribute its Prism Cannon to another Fire Prism that is out of range (more than 60" away)? reference the first paragraph, if one fire prism has line of sight to another.....  no range requirement is listed of needed only line of sight is needed.

ELD.43.02 -- Q: Can a Fire Prism still contribute its Prism Cannon to another Fire Prism even if it is unable to fire it's Prism Cannon for another reason (for example, its Prism Cannon has been destroyed or the Fire Prism is Stunned for the turn)?  well being stunned/shaken is an easy answer, the rules for assisting fire prism is "may forfeit their chance to fire"  thus if they can not fire they cant not assist so being stunned/shaken is answered.  being weapon destroyed is not technically covered.

ELD.43.03 -- Q: Can a Fire Prism contribute its Prism Cannon to another Fire Prism and still fire its Shiruken Catapluts/Cannon at a seperate enemy target?   see the rule about "forfeit their chance to fire"  if they forfeit their fire phase they can not fire any weapons thus can not fire any weapons at different targets.

ELD.45B.01 -- Q: The Vibro Cannon rules do not state that it ignores the usual LOS restrictions. Models out of LOS are not normally allowed to be removed as casualties. Are enemy models out of LOS from a Vibro Cannon valid casualties?     no direct answer is given, the intent answer is pretty clear though as the top description says (the firer does not need to pick a target) then it describes the rest of the procedure.

ELD.45B.02 -- Q: Does a target with an Armor Value hit by a vibro cannon battery suffer a glancing hit for each weapon that successfully rolled 'to hit' or just a maximum of one glancing hit no matter what?    see the paragraph describing how vehicles are affected, a vehicle hit takes one glancing hit.  not one per cannon.  also reference the fact that the number of cannons that "roll a hit" is irrevelant to its effects.

to reference someones question about number of cannons that roll hits, the example in the description answers that, the cannons roll a 1 4 6 to hit and they do d6 str 6 hits,   as one cannon has str 4, a battery of 3 cannons would hit with str 6 exactly as described in the example and rules as given.

ELD.66C.01 -- Q: Does a Wraithlord get the +1 Attack bonus in close combat for having "two single-handed weapons"? His Shiruken Catapults and flamers both appear to be single-handed to him.   the answer is no, see the old codex where the wraithlord has 2(3) because it had 2 dreadnaught close combat weapons, now it is a monsterous creature.  wether it is intentional or an over sight is unknown.  but as a monsterious creature it might have 3 weapns but it can still only fire 2 of them.

ELD.39.01 -- Q: Can Guardians with a Heavy Weapon Platform embark on a transport vehicle?   as it says specifically it is "carried" by one of the gunners and is ignored for model count yes they can be put in a wave serpant.

ELD.45B.06 -- Q: Is the Strength of a vibro cannon battery increased by cannons that successfully rolled 'to hit', or just by the total number of cannons in the battery regardless of whether they hit or not?   i believe the example clearly shows that the hits rolled dont matter as long as one hit is rolled.

While reading through the warp spider entry last night I noticed an odd wording that seems to make their second jump much less useful. The entry reads:

"If unengaged, the unit may make a second jump in the assault phase instead of assaulting"

Does this mean that the spiders must be able to assault to use their second jump? According to the wording, the jump replaces an assault move, and if you can't make an assault move, you can't very well replace it.

Warlocks are allowed to join a guardian or a wraithguard squad but the new codex doesn't say if you must have a farseer on the field to play these warlocks or if they count as a model from the 10 model unit of warlocks that may accompany the farseer and if you don't need a farseer do these warlocks count as a HQ choice, and finally if they count towards the 10 model unit that may accompany the farseer do you have to have 3 warlocks even if you only need 1-2 in your army

I know its a hard confusing question but its really naging at me

Lost in L.A. smog

I know this might be a minor nitpick but the Bright Lance entry in the Reference Summary list there' s no asterisk donating at the bottom that the Lance rule is in the BBB. Most know that rule, but if I'm a new player and I didn't know the Lance rule then I wouldn't know what it meant because it's not in the Eldar Codex and the codex woundn't help me along and point me towards the BBB Lance rule.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

The new Codex makes no mention of the units and numbers that can be used as Sentries.

This is not unusual, the current Tau codex mentions sentries, whilst neither the Space Marine nor the Imperial Guard Codex do.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.
