This is a quick hack to give you and idea of what can easily be done. It doesn't look very "WW2 era" though... I'm going to play with the fonts and colors.

These can be easily re-sized. Unfortunately, the actual WW2 poster images can only be enlarged a bit, so probably are best for online use.

If anybody finds BIG versions of those WW2 posters, send me a link!

Gordon, any thoughts? Go, no-go?

my 2¢... I like the title "Flames of War New England" always on the poster to have continuity... How about a smaller arrow so you can still see both stars?

I would like to offer to host the kickoff event on June 30 for the first FOW NE event at AVID.

I hope we can rally the CT, RI, MA and NH guys. We would like to use with the large D-Day board we showcased at the convention this past weekend. Maybe run two mega maps (one D-Day and one Russian Front). and in our third room we could have one more standard table for anyone who does not fit in either of the other maps? Late war? I would welcome any ideas for missions and army sizes as well...

What do you guys think?

Anybody reading this should check out the After-Action Reports on the first FoW New England event, hosted at Avid on June 30th, 2007. We had 16 players from 4 states in attendance, and one very successful event! Thanks to Chris & Scott from Avid for hosting, and Gordon & Denise for prize support!
