It was nice to meet you Russ. Saw you when you took pictures of my Word Bearers and my friends Eldar armies.

I was glad that my team tied for 6th and was the highest placing Eldar team.

BLOIDs Ork table was awsome, and was better than last years.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but my team, Craftworld 40K Fight Club, finished 5th overall and we also won Best Tacticians.  We were an all Eldar team.

It was a crazy weekend for sure. Russ it was good to meet you too. I was on Dok's Tools. Thanks for snappin a picture of our team for us.

And wow, fighting with orks is an uphill struggle.

Whitedragon, you were on Dok's Tools?  Damn.  We (Cold Steel Mercs) played against your team in round three!  Jamie and I were up against Kirk and Jason(?) on the table with the buildings.  Were you one of the guys I danced with, or were you on the other table?

Your Ork armies were solid!  Excellent in that scenario.   The only negative I could see is that I thought Kirk's Slugga mobs would have been better with Rokkits (or even Big Shootas) instead of Burnas.  Burnas really seem to be the icing on the cake in close combat, while what the mobs can really use is more ranged punch.

Ya know...I actually heard someone say Ragnar, and I thought to myself, I think they used to call Mannahin, Ragnar!

I didn't put two and two together until just now! Yea, you played against my teammates Kurt and Jason. We talked about burnas vs Rokkits, (everyone else was sold on rokkits) but the Burnas actually came into their own more as flamers then power weapons. The Skorchas were brilliant too!

As for your team, I played against the pink flower, strawberry and butterfly marines and nightlords. Man that mission was crazy, and I couldn't seem to kill 2 lousy obliterators. Cyborks did kill the demon princess, much too her owner's chagrin, but in the end, the damn obliterators were able to take out all of my units on one of our quarters, preventing us from holding the table quarter via the team coalition rules.

A very close, if not odd game.

And for the record, we didn't play against any real space marines!!!! 1st round was vs Orks, second against Demonhunters/witchhunters, 3rd round was your chaos team, and 4th round was Godzilla nids. (Not very much fun for the orks, let me tell you.)

EDIT:

Ragnar, I'm on the far left in our team picture on Russ's Adepticon gallery!

Hey there.  Yeah, you played against Chris Flores (posts on here rarely as thetinman) and Alex Fennel (of Mongoose fame).  Chris had the Alpha Legion and Alex the Strawberry Shortcake Iron Warriors.  Jame and I drew against Jason and Kurt.  Very tight game.

We played against your Orks in round 3, a Blood Angels/Dark Angels team in round 1,and  Godzilla nids rounds 2 and 4.  Lictor my Spores and No FN Mournival (that ogrgeous Four Stages of Tyranid Infestation display) respectively.

On Sunday I faced Death Guard, mech Tau, and webway DE.  While I did see a number of Ultramarine armies around the hall, marines definitely seemed a much smaller proportion than usual this weekend.  Lots of Chaos still, but huge numbers of Eldar and Nids.

Yeah you keed.  Actually the Legolas thing was a nickname her old roommates gave me.  Her fetish is more towards longhaired metal singers- say Aaron Stainthorpe or lately Joe Duplantier of Gojira.

I am simply appalled that youre allowed to educate the fair and innocent youth with youre deranged and disgustingly bellicose display. You should be ashamed of your blatant disrespect and outright disregard for the feelings of a tender young man who brusies easily when love-wrestling...
