Dire Avengers aren't a point for point unit, they're a combined arms unit. 177 points gets you a shooty squad with a power weapon that holds its own in assault. March em up the table and giver.
For 15 points, Bladestorm is just a bonus. They're one of the few units that complements Wave Serpents and you can fleet them first turn or late game to position yourself.

imo of course. But I've had success with them, running them along side Guardians. Note that I wouldn't use them in a static firepower list, or a list that is as close to static firepower as Eldar get.
And point for point they do just fine. Altho it's true that they are 100% pure basic infantry killers.
