the 20th Millenium must've had some sweet wars.

Lots of fighting, but no real amounts of darkness, grimness, or general bad stuff associated with war. Hell, I bet they were pretty happy to kill each other.

CK

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Also, I think maybe some people aren't viewing this graph in the spirit it's intended!

I don't agree with the spirit of the graph. Only the graph as drawn.

Wow, I'm kind of shocked that anyone picked out such an obscure quote. But if anyone anywhere were to be able to identify it, I suppose this would be the place to find them.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

In college I used my Myth books to provide quotes for a public speaking event. Read the quote, take 1-2 minutes prep, SPEAK!

Much fun.

My buddy topped me when he used quotes from Jabberwoky.
