GW's costs in 'oil' and essentially all production costs is less than 4% of sales.

It does indeed take a genius to spend more than 96% of the profits and post a loss.

When you figure in all the expenses to run a global company, including being able to pay your employees and keep the lights on, I'd be willing to bet my paycheck that their profit is FAR from 96%

Profit is defined in accounting as the money left from revenue after all costs have been paid. So Whitedragon is exactly right, there are a lot more expenses in running a company like GW than just the cost of manufacturing goods.

Most companies don't spend 4% of their total profits making their product, guys.

Not even close.

There's a reason GW isn't doing well currently, it's because they ballooned the business to a huge size and once sales dropped...they couldn't keep payments up.

In case you're wondering, having almost 40 days of 'past due' to your creditors is bad in business. Most experts recommend 1 month maximum. Remember, we're not talking about a mom & pop store here, we're talking about a international comglomerate. Sure it's no IBM, but that doesn't change the way you do business--not if you want to stay in business, anyway.
