That is amazing! Great job those skirts really helped it out a lot! I love it makes me wish I still played SOB's.

That's funny, when I see the Greek Ionic columns I just think "Cake!"

I'm sorry, doc, but if you make something this large you should make it

Nice work!

1. So... big....
2. Personally, I like there being *something* buildingesque on the outside of the tracks, so the wings were a welcome change. It also makes the base feel bigger than everything above it, which is good imo. The ladders work for me too.
3. Blessed Ammunition struck me as very fitting for clearing heretics out of a city, denying them the safety of buildings. Assuming the building hasn't been torched and left to burn to the ground.
4. I would have preferred the side doors to face out, but nothing wrong with it as-is.
5. The other option for Grave of the Righteous could be to count as a Simulacrum Imperialis for all Faithful in play. But I suppose it makes more sense for Sisters to be "extra-faithful" with the cathedral in play, rather than aspiring to more variety of Acts.
6. I really like Shield of Faith as an explanation for the Void Shields. Perhaps leaving out the psychic fluff, and explain it on faith alone. Surely the God-Emporer is powerful enough to protect his faithful? And Sisters are a bit anti-psyker anyways.

Nice work, the model (seems too small a term) is very imposing. And I might borrow your datasheet at some point. Both give me lots of ideas for if I ever try the same. One last question: What are the final dimensions?

LOL !

What are the final dimensions?

14 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 18 inches tall.

To put that into perspective, a baneblade is, I believe, 8 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches tall.

So, it's twice as wide, nearly twice as long, and more then four times as tall as a baneblade. So, you would basically have to stack 16 blaneblades two wide, two deep, and four tall, to make something as big as this is.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

While blocky, the wider base is very nice. Makes it look a bit more stable. I like it

Perhaps, to integrate the wings into the body, you could build out some flying butresses from the wings to the upper level, that way it would look as though the wings are part of the core structure and supporting the upper levels, as opposed to being supported by the core structure.

Small detail, but I think it could add a lot. (It also gives you more wall space to detail )

like the idea very much. just wondered about the size? how can it navigate through a city with out getting stuck? also the points come in at over 1100 without any special rules added onto the cost. good work though.

Well I saw it in person. Here's a few things:

All of your models are always so busy no one knows what is what. Your Exorcist hurts my eyes man...is that a Dalek cockpit or what? lol

If I can't tell without peering at it at 3" range, it's not converted well enough.

I think all the SB should go. Also from a game standpoint as a all-around take-all comers kind of thing, it's vulnerable to the front AND rear. Sure it has lots of shooting to the sides vs infantry (the primary target) but only short-ranged to the front.

Instead of inferno cannons, which have been removed from 40K (with reason) why not solve the lack of longer ranged fire by making those hellhound cannons instead? I also don't think you should use the LB Multimeltas, I think you should count those as LB hellhound cannons.
While MM are fluffy for sisters, as a 'cleanse the populace' unit you really shouldn't be packing huge amounts of anti-tank...but huge amounts of anti-personnel is both fluffy for sisters AND fluffy for the units stated function.

Back to the busy model thing...please don't put like 20 redemptionists on it and glue them down--use magnets...

Remember the rules for the Ork Squiggoths, where you could have a 'built in' squad aboard? Do the same thing here, and remember when I said to make it open-topped? Well if you have 20 redemptionists aboard 'count as' 20 lasguns and you can fire them anywhere from the base. It isn't a whole lot and it is just lasguns but at close range it is 40 shots--that will really give you the up close firepower you need. Pretty cheap under VDR, but unlike alot of gits who bring 100 lasguns on their VDR vehicles, you'd have the models and a reason to bring 'em.

13/13/13 open topped with 4 structure points is fine with what all the weapons are on it.

Just remember 6 HB, 2 Exorcist launchers, 2 LB multimeltas, and 2 hellhound cannons...it really is quite a bit since you can fire all of that except the 2 HB in the back on each side forward.

Only 2 HB and 2 exorcist launchers to the back though? Wouldn't a city crusher have a decent weapon to the rear?

Personally I'd make it more of an all-around defender, with enough firepower forward to break through barricades but otherwise equal amounts in all directions. You can put the most forward, and plenty of HB and flamers to the sides...but I'd toss in 4 more hellhound cannons in the back in place of the HB in the rear and side slots.

If you ran everything the way I suggested...

You'd have 2 LB Hellhound cannons with a 6-36" range and the Exorcists with a 12"-48" range in every direction (ok the Exorcists should probably not have a minimum range to the rear and on each side 1 could not have a minimum--just basing this on the model).
You'd also always have 2 standard Hellhound shots in every direction but could put out 4 maximum in any single direction. Far more fluffy as a Purification unit goes, who's going to be using heavy bolters? Sisters purify with flame! Anyone who complains about all those hellhound cannons...well, you could run it as a Titan with apoc blast templates.

Oh and speaking of apoc blast templates, personally I'd setup the two LB cannons to drop the bigger apoc flamer template. Makes the vehicle fit in, and of course with all those S6 shots you really won't need MM's. Yes, you'll still have the Sisters weakness against armor 14, but this unit should be going into lots of infantry (cough I mean civilians fleeing in holy terror) and burning the gak outta everything in sight.

Oh and last thought, I'd give minimum ranges to your weapons mounted on the top. Like 12" for the exorcists and 6" for the long barrels. Then you can just measure from the front and not worry about measuring diagonally, and you won't have anyone complaining about LOS if they get to close you'll just fry the gak outta 'em with the hellhound cannons.

Oh and I've thought about it some more...definitely armor 14 on the front. Open topped AV13 means Leman Russes (what you'd technically be most likely to find 'resisting' your purge) get two shots, pretty much cannot scatter off you, and roll 2D6 twice....and it's ordnance. Bad bad news for a 'regular' unit to annihilate you.

Your models so big if people want side shots they can get it, but at least the shots aren't free AND easy.

Hope that helps.

Yes, armour 14 for a rolling battle church sounds like a good idea to me. The flamers replacing bolters works. Hellhound cannons are nasty.

Finally, it needs (IMO) a 'big gun' but I don't know what. I'm envisioning something that fires the 'pizza plate' apocalyptic blast. Or maybe a cluster of griffon morters on top that fire as a barrage.

Sisters don't get those kinds of weapons sadly.

If it's not a heater or some kind of rocket...

4 normal hellhounds and 2 LR hellhounds to the front is alot of template madness.

Anyway there's not really any place on the model to mount more weapons...

Fine then, a set of VLS launch cells containing the same kind of rockets you'd find on a Manticore.

What, there's a "More Than Man Sized" category?

What would you enter? A true to scale Capitol Imperialis? An Emperor Titan? A working replica of a Land Raider?

You could just JBWeld some microwaves on the side of an Escalade for a working replica of a Land Raider.

There is no such thing as a Hellhound Cannon...

If you mean the Hellhound's main weapon, that would be an Inferno Cannon.

Anyways - love this project! It's just so ridiculously awesome!
