OT to the original topic but...

Reading the Horus Heresy books I got the impression the IFs were to be based on terra so they could go about their job of fortifying the Imperial Palace.

And some of the legions (Iron Warriors especially) were not happy that they get to 'glory' of being based on terra.

The Iron Warriors weren't happy, because they were the other choice for the construction of the imperial place and it was what caused/forced them to turn traitor when Horus asked them.
