Got a first aid kit after burning some APs to go to a hospital. So tomorrow morning will be a quick 20AP raid to shoot zombies, or I may just keep searching the police department.
I keep finding shotguns, up to 3 now, but only 1 shell. :(

Damn zombies got in and killed 40 survivors. :(
So now a zombie I've headed off to a revive point.

Then started a new character- a lab assistant, working well, returned to the building I sarted from and the buggers had upgraded the barricades and couldn't get in. All the buildings nearby were EHB and stuck outside I then ran out of action points, standing outside a building.
Then some idiot turns up and shoots me dead in the half hour I'm waiting for an AP to get in....

Not sure if should go to a revive location or just start anew on the 2nd character as scored 56XP real fast just tagging zombies.

Will probably just start new....

Dude.
Don't do that.
There are over 800,000 characters in Monroeville, already. No need to abandon one because he died. He'll die again... many times.
Walk to a revive point, hack on some zombies while you're there (but save the XP for when you're human) and wait for a revive.

When you're revived, you'll have XP to spend and can run off and pretend that your efforts aren't futile (again). LOL

I've worked out how to stay alive. Hide out in clubs or other nondescript buildings. My second character is level 3- almost level 4 and having a great time. Just hang out in dark night clubs whilst the yokels sitting in the high priority targets (always 30+) get hammered daily.

My first character has been waiting for a revive for 10 days now.... lame.
Although I still log on and attack other zombies at the revive point to XP boost whilst waiting so when become alive again can splurge on skills.

That's probably why you're not getting revives.
If you beat on someone at a revive point, they take note of your profile. When they're revived, they pass the word.
took me a long time to learn that tidbit of info.

I suggest Logging in then back out if he isn't revived, or walking away, attacking a Zed nearby, then moving back to the revive point after.

I also suggest killing humans who are stupid enough to get caught by you. You get full XP, and they fully expect to be attacked by roaming Zeds.... either that or, if you see an active one, check their profile. If they have Necrotech shills, then "Mrh?" a few times. Follow them around "Mrh?ing" if necessary... but don't attack them if you're trying to get a revive from them.

Monroeville is getting tough for survivors. You almost have to be a PKer to amass any real XP. LOL

As a lab assistant I'm racking up the xp easily. At 4 per scan, heaps of zombies in my suburb I dash to the revive point scan 10-15 zombies and dash back and find a couple of revive syringes.
Then next day run down revive 2 zombies (after scanning) scan a few more and go to a hospital to get a first aid kit in case I get infected (have 2 ATM)
Repeat.

Currently I'm racking up about 80 XP every 2 days, and doing searches.

Just got barricade and added to the building I'm in.

Level 4 now and over halfway to level 5.

If so, call out where you are.

<---- Brian Lange, LvL 1 police officer noob. Just finished one day on the job with 13 xp, a pistol w/clip, shotgun w/one shell, 2 fireaxes, a radio, and a flak jacket.

UPDATE: just found a flare gun and another shotgun shell. I'm in the Dulston area.

Drop one of those fire axes. It's just using up space.
If it ever breaks (and I've only ever heard of it happening once... on barricades), they're easily found.
You have xp already? Oooh. Brave man.
I stayed inside until I had a few pistols, a few shotguns, all fully loaded and handfulls of ammo for each with the characters I had that started as humans and with my Zombies after they were revived.

yeah, first day noob, went out and shot me a Zambah- didn't realize being lvl 1 meant you sucked that bad. I'm still lvl one, but now I've learned to really stock up. 2 pistols with several clips, 2 shotguns loaded with extra cells, got rid of the useless junk. dulston is pretty tame thanks to the dulston alliance, but the nearby hospitals have all been EHB (which is annoying as hell for a lvl 1) so I am forced to shoot zombies for xp.

I'm also running a zombie now, and managed to take barricades down from Extreme to lightly barricaded... can't find anyone on the streets and am tired of attacking other zombies.

The scientist is the easiest character so far, you leap out scan a heap of zombies, and revive the odd one (especially those who have broken into buildings and are attacking the survivors there... he he.

Fair warning... reviving zombies that are attaching humans is referred to as "Combat reviving." There are MANY MANY MANY players who will hunt your human down and kill him for it.
Now, I'm not saying don't do it. It's absolutely hilarious from a survivor aspect.
"Oh, no a Zombie! Ruuuuuuuuuun!!!! Wait. What does this syringe do? Let's just jab it in Oll Chompy's neck here and see what happens..."
I'm just giving you fair warning.
Not that dying is that big a deal in Malton. Just wait around for a revive.

I don't totally agree on the scientist being the easiest. Partially, but not totally. You can't rely on the scanning XP, because you only get XP for unscanned Zombies. Of course, it's nice AP for reviving them. Also... never spend 20AP to CREATE a syringe. That's ridiculous. Search for a syringe and you'll usually find 2 - 4 for the same AP.

My favorite character is a cop. You start with a pistol & a flak jacket. You immediately have something to shoot with (5 XP for each hit - that adds up) and, if you die, your zombie is more resilient for having the flak jacket.

I have one character who is absolutely frustrated. I've spent around 150 AP searching a Police Dept and have found a bunch of pistols, a few clips, ALMOST 30 SHOTGUN SHELLS and not one freaking shotgun.
LOL

I stopped playing, as I got bored.
I had one character I wasn't bored with... he was in Monroeville.

Then, Kevan reopened the borders, everyone made Zombies and trashed the whole place (since humans couldn't be revived in thqat city, they did NOT last). I think that's what he wanted, as he's now closed the place down.

If I had THAT character in Malton I'd still play.
