What is this.. "56k" that you speak of? Sounds... archaic.

No, it's a preview of WH40K 13th edition, coming out 2027.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

I'm sure he's proud that he's earned his Terminator Honors, but methinks that belt buckle is overcompensating for something...

For a "free" figure (and don't you just move it when companies give you something "free" if you spend x dollars/whatever with them?) it's not too bad, but I am getting a bit tired of the classic fencing pose.

But at least v5 should mean that "PF/Bolter" combo makes some sense.

Australia, mate

Sadly the Australian GW site hasn't been updated in twelve months.

But I do like the new U.S. site, the bigger pictures are great, and I'm not getting any long load times.

I half-heartedly looked around the site for a pic of that guy, but couldn't find one. Anyone got a link?

edit: Oh, he's on the front page. Nevermind.

I just had a quick look around the site, and it nearly killed me.

Transpires the site identifies me as English, but its best attempt at currency conversion is just swapping the currency signs...

Their web design keeps wanting to push pictures partially outside the viewable area of their frame.

You have to lick "more detail" to expand the entry to the whole pages, and THEN hit "+" in order to get the whole picture.

The design looks nice and the navigation is fine, but Emperor's Toenails, does it run like a bloated plaguebearer. Hideously slow.

Slow, annoying to navigate and gets the prices wrong (at least I hope so). Seems like they've got more work to do here..

Full marks for flashyness. I'm sure they'll get it sped up. A bit of a shame there is so much of a tie in with the online store however...

Not very much of a FLGS friendly approach really.

I quite like the look of the site and it's pretty intuitive to navigate (although I've not gone looking for things like "Hive Tyrant Masterclass or Black Gobbo or How to base Space Marine Bikes) but... I can only hope the shop is utterly wrong.

I'm going in through "United Kingdom" on the front splash page and it's telling me a C'tan is £35 and a codex is £22?!

WTF? If that's true then it's a price jump of double (nearly) for a codex and more than double for the C'tan.

Which leads me to believe these are US prices just with a £ symbol?

Can a US citizen confirm the instore bricks and mortar price of a C'tan is $35 and a Codex is $22?

I hate the new site, while the old one was marginally usable on a PocketPC running PIE, the new one is utterly useless. Great for trying to hit up the FAQ section while not in front of a proper PC.

I still think the site is awesome.. light years above and beyond the old mega low tech one. It's 2008 not 1998. Glad they upgraded it. And for a site this incredibly huge, for me it runs fast and smooth and I've had no issues whatsoever. It's an awesome start so here's hoping it keeps improving

It's giving me a headache to navigate. Where's the good old 'website updates' link so I can just see what's new and not have to have the online store shoved in my grill?

Nope. It long ago ceased to have useful articles or anything of value.

If the web team now has time to do it properly, then I hope it may come back.

Has anyone noticed that the Baneblade and the terminus land raider are now under the heavy support sections of their respective armies? On the old website there was a superheavy section, but now there is not. Do you think this means anything?

Sad but true.

Here's hoping it is allowed to reappear soon, in its original and useful format.
