You mean Defiler Kingdoms? I already called it.

I'd certainly like to see a return of the little guys, but are they going to have any part of the old Squats at all? I mean SW now have all the viking/runic fluff, and Orks, particularly Evil Sunz have the whole biker gang thing down. Squats already had trouble fitting between gEQ and MEQ back in the day. Though they were utterly awesome in Epic (SM/TL edition)

If they go the Demiurg way they'll take on the 'heavily armed traders/bankers' line of thinking.

As long as they have Exo-Armour I don't care. That stuff was cool.

Maybe, but the Tau call the Demiurg Bentu'sin, meaning "wise-gifted ones" a.k.a. floating bastards in outer space (tm) who sometimes help out, but not always.

From the Western Fringe came the Demigurg, with their highly advanced calculators and knowledge of lending. Thus began the age of the adjustable-rate loan.

And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity......

Thankfully the Pan Fo were around to buy the Golden Throne for pennies on the dollar.

Well, assuming they'd gone to ground the turn before, that would make sense.
