Back on Topic - sorry I didn't have access to the fifth edition rulebook prior to the release of the fifth edition rulebook. Mistakes in grammar, references, etc have been made in previous posts over the years - and I read the post and believed the same might apply.

Timeline:

Zoned: Scarabs move as Jetbikes. Jetbikes can turboboost, which will yield you a 3+ cover saves. Scarabs are swarms, which get the "stealth" rule. The stealth rule says you get to add +1 to your cover save. So Scarabs get a 2+ cover save when they turboboost? Sounds kinda gross to me.

Toxic Wisdom: You're confusing save types: the turbo boost as a jetbike grants an Invulnerable save, not a Cover save.

Lord Mortis: In 5th edition, turbo boosting gives you a straight 3+ cover save.

Toxic Wisdom: Question was originally posted during 4th Ed time period.

Red Lives: but it is clear he was talking about 5th ed.

Toxic Wisdom: What was so clear about it regarding fifth edition ? Any remark in the title that mentioned 5th Ed ? No... simply a question regarding Scarabs and Turbo Boost - something that exists in fourth edition...

-- So up to this point where did my childish behavior rear its ugly head ? I can't seem to find it in any of my replies prior to this very adult remark...

Ghaz: Uh, the mention of cover saves sort of gives it away that it's a fifth edition question.

-- I know of two other "adults" that use the term UH before a sentence: Beavis and Butthead.

You started the "childish" tone with this post:

Dude,

Your response to Lord Mortis' initial response should have been something like, "oh, sorry, I didn't realize that the rule was changing."

You then could have added to the discussion as to whether you agreed or disagreed with the OP. Instead, you have wasted vaulable minutes of countless people's time reading your pointless bickering posts!

How on earth was that series of text childish ? You said it was clearly fifth ed related - when it wasn't... The question was legit based on the fact that perhaps some of us haven't seen the fifth edition rulebook, so the chance of unclarity does ( and did ) exist.

Okay I get it - this is some kind of favoritism thing... Others have posted with negative remarks ( Ghaz has replied free of any pointless bickering posts ) but they are backed by their long standing peers, while I in the meantime get a bullseye painted on my shirt. Nice group you have here...
