I would also like to state to those who are unaware or didn’t notice it previously mention in this post, forge world made a giant Avatar model as they have also made giant greater daemon models (daemon lords). Let me say this again to be extra clear there is a GIANT model of the avatar the same as the giant versions of greater daemons. He makes my regular avatar look like mini-me. The three daemon lords have rules that represent their models - see Apocalypse Imperial Armor.

I made the avatar rules based heavily on the GWS rules for their daemon models, which seems more then fair to me as the forge world model of the avatar is of comparable in stature and dynamic as the daemon lords.

Actually he is very small compared to the FW bloodthirster and GUO. He is also very much shorter than the Keeper too.

I admit that I only seen pictures of the daemon lords so I don’t have a great gasp of the size comparisons.

The normal sized avatar is small when compared to normal sized greater daemons. My normal avatar is easily a head shorter than my Keeper of Secrets; it would be more if the model wasn’t doing its slanted crouching down pose. The forge world model may be small when compared to the other daemon lords, but his model dwarfs the other monstrous creatures in 40K.

I think the model justifies gargantuan status, just my opinion. Plus if size alone was the decider then great knarlocs would be monstrous creature and the C'tan would be infantry.
