Very nice! Those are some great spearmen. I like the little touches like the cooler helmet and weapons for unit champion and of course those banners take it to the next level, very impressive. This will be one of the best HE armies when its done. Cant wait to see what you do next now that it seems you have the core choices for the army done.

God those are good.

What I would give to be able to paint my elves even half that good.

My only critisism so far would be that you should highlight the armour scales with some chainmail to brighten it up but that is a personal preference.

You blue layering looks great and the shields on the models are really striking...

Keep the pics coming.

The ones I have posted here are mine that I painted myself and have expanded upon GMM's.

Well not to derail the thread but I saw a lot of their stuff in pics and you don't discern which pics they painted and which you painted. But whatever doesn't matter I just figured they would appreciate some credit.

GMM has been posting in this thread... and the OP already said the stuff he's posting in here is his personal work done to add to the models that were painted by GMM.

OP: Gorgeous work, I love them! If you don't mind me asking, what are you using for the basecolor for the white?

I lay down a mix of icy blue skull white for the base coat and layer it up with watered down skull white
