If it was dropped into my lap I'd probably just get myself a ton of paint, Caramon and Raistli-*Crosses out* Tyrion and Teclis, then some more troops and squander the rest in eBay auctions for Alarielle and as many Maiden Guard as possible.

I'd get more terrain for my Realm of Battle Gameboard.

I would NOT buy models. I've given myself "model shock" before and it drags me down and makes me want to completely avoid all things 40k related. :(

Sell it to someone for $250 and buy some Warmachine.

I would go to ebay and try to hook up a bargin. Those greedy @@##$$ at GW can go **%%$$. I am sick of price hikes. I say screw GW go buy from a gamer who is looking to get rid of their GW gear out of disgust. You are likely to get more bang for your buck.

if i got $300 tomorrow (that i could only spend on GW), i would buy about 100 more guardsmen, and then spend the rest on tanks (an excorcist 1st, then the rest on LRBT variants)

I would buy every different kind of guard model so I could at least have 1 squad of each tallarn, mordian, catachan, steel legion, DKK, Elysians, then buy some Brettonian and Cadian stuff to make some cool dudes and then spend the rest on Empire stuff to build up my army.

I think the folks who would spend it on Feebay might want to reconsider.

Last I checked, FEEbay doesn't accept GW gift cards.


I'm holding out for preorders, then buying plastic stormboys (2 or 3 boxes, depending on quantity per box), a battlewagon or 2, a couple boxes of grots, 3 to 6 bikes and more trukks... and anything else I have left over might buy a "real" SM Dread so I can loot it... a WraithLord for looting, too, if the funds are there.

If I have enough left over, then throw in a Monolith and a box of Necron Warriors for my son's army.

Oh yeah, and fill the gaps in my paint collection as well, maybe a foundation paint set...

Anyway I'd probably start a new army by buying one of the army starter boxes. Perhaps the new Warriors of chaos army or something.

That "New " gameboard is a joke. Kudos for GW for trying, but they really know how to !@#$ up a good thing.

You can buy a can of paint, a paintbrush, and 2 4X4 plywood boards, AND the 2x4's and stand parts for around 30 bucks. A box of scenery for 20-50 bucks, and still have enough for a solid army or TWO. 1000 pts each if you do your homework.

300 bucks for me is going to Mordhiem, WFRPG books, Ork, Empire, the Rulebook, the chaos book, and a couple of bottles of paint.
