Anyway, I like the idea of a mega-armoured grot, but the fact of the matter is, conversions have to be elaborate enough that it's not obvios which kits you've used. This... just looks like a grot's head on a battlesuit. It doesn't look like a suit of mega-amour.

who is BrookM and what does he have to do with me?

this was first started with main priority to fix a broken model ( head snapped off , arm snapped off and dissapeared , mounted gun all snapped off , leg snapped by the knee )
I wouldn't use a $20 new model to build something for ork lol. i would use my dried up paint bottles for that for free. ( Then i would take the trash can / killkan
to my GW store and say "hi, i use your awful dried up paint bottle to be my trash er i mean killakan, isn't it befitting?! " etc etc

But you guys are right, it doesn't look orky at all. Though i don't mind really, i picture Grots as having more finesse then Orks.

Thus, making it impossible to convert to your standards. Even with the subtle conversions you can tell where the parts came from with experience.

It should be: "a good conversion doesnt look like a conversion"

I like the concept, Ive considered using battlesuits for non tau stuff before. the guns on the right arm look good, but the dread shoulder looks too bulky, tho the powerfist is ace. not sure what the railgun thing is doing thoug, I think that makes the model look a bit...ridiculous, to be perfectly honest.

The pose is also interesting, Im not sure if I like it yet. Kind of...spiderman like? It would work if it didnt have the huge deadweight of that cannon on its shoulder.

hes leaping down from the ruin ( probably standing on it earlier or just hopping over it )
the 2 shoulder mounted , smaller = custom mega blasta, large = custom Force Field Generator (yes big enough to cover his units )
think of it as a beam shield, like a light saber but thats projected in 360 degree :"P
