If it didn't have the terminator helmet and it were labeled "dwarf lord" I would think that it was a great model. The problem with it is that it doesn't capture the spirit of Leman Russ, which means that no matter how well done it is, people aren't going to like it because it looks wrong. If I made a beautiful model of an ork and said "behold! the god-emperor of mankind. $130 please" it would be ridiculous because it wouldn't look right. So modelling skill isn't really a good substitute for a good design.

It doesn't fit my mental image of Russ, but I can't do better with just greenstuff. I'm still entitled to my opinion, as this is sculpting and sculpting, along with all other art, is subjective. No need to discount everyone's opinion on the basis that the model is generally well sculpted (leaving out the ork head of course). Maybe it's ok not to like a model of the Space Wolf primarch that has no wolf imagery on it.

For a huge hulking pissed off viking in armour he looks like he is scared of something.

I think the one from scriboe works better. (and its cheaper)

I think its an amazing sculpt. True Viking/Norse look dwarvish lol. How the beard stops bothers me the most. Waaaaaait a second, I just realized he was standing up... That makes it look a lot worse. He looks waaaaaay to dwarvish now that I saw that little bit lol. I thought he was kneeling down and it looked sweet, but he looks like Primarch Squatty Russ. Probably more like 50-60$.
