Flannel is so darn cool. You know it all started in Scotland with the clans. I am half Scottish and half Mexican. There was once a movie with James Cogburn playing a demolitions expert who was terrorizing Mexico back during the revolution. Rod Steiger played a Mexican who befriended him and cogburn gave him his favorite flannel shirt at the end of the movie.

I heard Paul Smith of London had a rubber vest for sale a couple years ago. It was lined with chess pieces and you could play a game on the checkered board lining in the pubs. I have a small backgammon set I carry along when I travel. I have played games in foreign countries with people who didn't speek English.
