Yeah, I was wondering if they would be in the special orders group. I can't really see BF expanding the blister rack range that much, particularly with talk of early war expansion and all that will entail.

Don't get me wrong, I'll pick up some FJ snipers...but I seriously doubt those would be slying off the shelves.

Agreed, unless they're also planning to redo their price band structure, which they aren't.

I suspect some products that are currently blistered will become special order because Early war will increase the FOW range significantly.

Except as I mentioned, Alliance would not have any special order items. As a distributor they would only have the boxes and blisters. Special order items would be handled by Battlefront on their online store.

So you're saying this will be a blister in our local shelves FLGS'? A blister pack containing one base of infantry figures as a standard release?

Incidentally I can order Special Order items through my FLGS, and they arrive with the rest of their FoW order.

I don't know what it is, but once again Alliance is a distributor. Your store may be able to get special orders direct from Battlefront, but not from Alliance. Distributors just don't do special orders. That's for Battlefront (or GW, etc) to do directly with either the store or the customer.
