Oh.

No, it's just a small PDF of the units and rules section. A lot of it references the old Chaos codex for the armoury and Aspiring Champions.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Does anyone know a site where I can see some pictures of the models from these different units? I would love to see what any of these figures looked like back when you could use them. My army Builder still asks me if I want to take Kroot Mercs... what are they?

Kroot, that are Mercenaries. They used to, and may still, have a PDF of GWs website about using them. The models are just Kroot with different customizations like wings for example. A unit with wings was a fast attack choice.

Cheese my friend,I would be indebted to you for a copy of those rules,I had a copy of the EoT codex, but it was lost and I hadn't been able to find the LAtD list anywhere.

After 69 votes i'm honestly surprised that people have voted more for squats than genestealer cult. Guess they weren't so unpopular after all.

My vote has to go to Lost and The Damned. I remember when this army list first came out. I was so excited about the new Cadian list for guard. I thought Chaos Guard was one of the stupidest ideas ever at the time. The possessed models everyone (in my group anyways) was using looked Fing slowed. Giant crab claw... I rest my case. But in retrospect they really are one of the fluffiest and most fitting armies in 40k. To me it really seems the way Chaos would fight. Get into the minds of chump human PDFs, convert them and when they've sacked enough baby kittens send them a handful of badass chaos marines to burn the rest of the world. It really gave the chaos marines a more "elite" feel too.

I voted for LatD, but I think genestealer's would be interesting, and kroot mercenaries should be a playable army as well. Too much time and effort is spent on space marines instead of expanding into new areas and updating codexes that actually need it. Even beyond the 4 options listed here, there are a great many races that have no codex that would be a lot of fun to play(hrud, demiurg, machine god cult, etc).

In the embrace of the great Nurgle, I am no longer afraid, for with His pestilential favour I have become that which I once most feared: Death.

LatD, definitely. I'd be all over that, if the troops looked anything like the forgeworld renegades stuff.
It's just sweeeeet.
And I say this as someone who long ago had a small Squat army. I loves me my squats, but LatD have much more potential for awesome, and they fill a really good niche. I wish we had LatD instead of Chaos Space Marines.

I'd really settle for either, they took Chaos Space Marines away.

I voted for Squats, because I have hundreds of models, and have to use them as count as IG. I would really like to see them remade, or at least have 5 edition stats. Some of them had to survive.
