i agree with Orkeosaurus, just because its twice the initiative doesnt mean it IS doubly quick...

if 3 is average then 6 is EXTREMELY quick... like... just slower than Matrix...

Also... if a genestealer could steal a coin outa ur hand really quick... imagine getting charged by Howling Banshees... you would be standing there then everything would go black... and the scream... its like a horror movie

I imagine that their speed is very comparable to that of the raptors from the Jurassic Park movies, (just watched #3 last night, and seems like a pretty good comparison). There definitely is a similarity between the two, as far as how I imagine them moving and fighting in packs...etc.

How fast is then an Archite with I8 ?

They certainly would hunt in packs, but can hold their own unsupported I think--just like raptors. And an archite must be on some really, really good crank to be at I8.

I have a feeling your larynx would already be removed if you primed up for a battle cry and you as big of a target as Mr. Creed and his prickish little friend.

Then the genestealer finds out that there was a Baneblade hidden behind the regimental standard.

Fast enough to reduce a full Guardian squad twice their number to a bloody pulp in one assault phase. I really needed that missile launcher, too...

No kidding... I doomed the girlfriend's broodlord & retinue, shot with the guardian squad, missile, and everything else. With one broodlord and one genestealer left I was reduced to a fleeing--oops, nope, not at all... That would be an EX guardian squad after the initiative test.

But at the end of the day, you have a girlfriend who plays 40K, so you're still a winner!

That's true too. And add to that the fact she's 5' 8" and amazing I really feel like a winner... Even if my eldar do get smacked around by my own bugs she borrows more than 50% of the time.
