I ordered my copy online on Sept 5. Went to my local GW store next day to let them know it was coming there. They had me log in & confirm my order, then went into the back room and brought out a copy still in its mailing pack. Hehe.. didn't know that the GW stores would be getting their own copies. So I got to walk out with my copy of the game less than 24 hours after ordering it online.. hehe. Now, my friend and I pooled our money together to buy the first edition SH when it first came out. We both had barely been out of high school. And we could hardly wait when the 2 expansions came out. And, dunno if too many remember, there was a yellow hardbound book of missions which came out. Also, we got EVERY White Dwarf issue which added rules, board pieces, and other cool stuff. There was one issue which had an April Fool's mission which is honestly unexplainable.. you really had to be there, but it was hilarious! He went on to buy the 2nd edition... (he still has both editions) So... I think this version is the best so far. The Blood Angels have really been given a make over, and love some of the new rules, especially Guard... that one has saved me more than one mission.

I figured that in the battle report in WD,
up to round 8 the Blood Angels had eliminated 9 Genestealers
but in round 8 there were 9 Genestealers in play, with 7 Blood Angels remaining.
It appears that the odds are shifted dramatically in the Nids direction.
